Ever wonder how a graphic novel artist works?

My friend and collaborator on Shield of the Maccabees, Dov Smiley,
created a series of videos to give the idea of how he creates a page. He starts with rough sketches to flesh out the scene. Then he adds details, background, color. I’m not an artist but I do know one thing: the process is certainly not as quick as these videos make it seem. Dov put a lot of time and thought into each page!
