Some of the artists who have illustrated
Eric's books have websites of their own. Here are a few of our favorites:
Ari Binus created the hilarious pictures that illustrate
Hayyim's Ghost. His portrait of Bayla Esther would make a
good Halloween mask. To learn more about Ari and his work, go to
www.aribinus.com.
Katya Krenina has illustrated several books for Eric, including
the Hannukah tale The Magic Dreidels and one of his most
recent titles, The Castle of the Cats. Katya, who now lives
in Fayettville, New York, grew up in Ukraine and attended art school
in the city of Lviv. Lviv is about fifty miles away from Kolomyya,
the town where Eric's grandparents came from. Katya and Eric share
a love of Old Country stories and traditions. You can find Katya's
website at: www.katyakrenina.com.
Mordicai Gerstein has illustrated two of Eric's books. Mordicai's
sense of humor makes him the perfect artist to capture the wacky
people of Chelm in The Jar of Fools and the bizarre Japanese
tale of The Three Samurai Cats. Learn more about Mordicai
at his website: www.mordicaigerstein.com.
Janet Stevens illustrated Eric's Anansi stories, including
Anansi and the Magic Stick. Learn More about Janet at her
website: www.janetstevens.com.
Michael Dooling illustrated Robin Hook, Pirate Hunter
which many of Eric's fans say is their favorite book. Learn more
about Michael at his website: www.michaeldooling.com.
John Winch illustrated the recently published Brother
Wolf, Sister Sparrow. He is from Australia. You can see his
illustrations from the book as well as some of his fine art by clicking

Will Hillenbrand illustrated Eric's Book The Tale of Ali
Baba and the Forty Thieves. He is an author as well as an illustrator.
You can find out more about Will at his website: www.willhillenbrand.com.
